Convicted
Saleh Mamman
Former Minister of Power under Buhari (Aug 2019–Sep 2021). On 7 May 2026 the Federal High Court in Abuja convicted Mamman in absentia on all 12 counts of fraud and money laundering related to funds for the Mambilla and Zungeru hydroelectric projects. On 13 May 2026 Justice James Omotosho sentenced him to 75 years (terms consecutive). The court ordered forfeiture of recovered assets, refund of the outstanding ₦22bn linked to the projects, and an international arrest warrant. Mamman was absent from both hearings; reports indicate he had purchased a 2027 Taraba State governorship nomination form on the APC platform.
