Olawale Edun

Long-standing Tinubu economic-policy ally. Served as Lagos State Commissioner for Finance during Tinubu's two terms as Governor (1999-2004). Founded Chapel Hill Denham (financial services). Now Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy in the Tinubu cabinet (since August 2023). His tenure as Lagos Commissioner for Finance overlapped with the period in which Alpha-Beta Consulting (a private firm) was awarded the Lagos State internally-generated-revenue collection contract — the arrangement at the centre of multiple Lagos-State-funds allegations against Tinubu, including the 2018-2019 Dapo Apara petitions to EFCC. Edun's personal status remains 'alleged' on the Looters bar; the structural link is the Lagos commissioner role during the Alpha-Beta era.
