Early human occupation at Nsukka (Ugwuele/UNN farm)

D.D. Hartle's test excavation at the University of Nigeria Nsukka Agricultural Farm yielded evidence of human occupation dating to 2555 BCE ± 130. The recovered unfired clay vessels closely resemble pots still used by Nsukka people, suggesting cultural continuity.
