Aliyu Akwe Doma

Former Governor of Nasarawa State (2007-2011, PDP) arraigned by EFCC in October 2011 in the Federal Capital Territory on charges of allegedly defrauding the state of approximately N28 billion. Alleged diversion of $90 million returned from the Paris Club in January 2008 features in the charges, with N1.5 billion allegedly paid to a single construction company. One of the four ex-governors in the 2011 EFCC arraignment wave (alongside Gbenga Daniel, Alao-Akala, and Danjuma Goje).
