Alfred Diete-Spiff

Vice Admiral Alfred Diete-Spiff was the first Military Governor of Rivers State (1967–1975), appointed at age 25 under General Gowon. He led the new state through the Civil War and post-war reconstruction. No corruption cases are recorded against him in the corpus. He is currently the Amayanabo (King) of Twon-Brass and a CFR honouree (2022).
