Sir Celestine Omehia briefly served as Rivers governor for 4 months and 25 days in 2007 before the Supreme Court nullified his election in favour of Rotimi Amaechi. The EFCC-indictment language that surfaces in 2007-era reporting referred to Amaechi (whose indictment by the EFCC was the pretext PDP cited for substituting Omehia), not to Omehia himself.
