Clement David Ebri
Clement David Ebri (b. 11 December 1952, Mkpani, Yakurr LGA) was the civilian Governor of Cross River State during the abortive Third Republic (January 1992 – 17 November 1993, NRC), elected after Babangida's transition programme and removed in the Abacha coup of November 1993. A former Nigerian Chronicle editor and Mercantile/Savannah Bank director, he later chaired the 2001 Presidential Review Committee and served as founding National Chairman of the PPA (2006–2009). No corruption proceeding is recorded against him in the corpus. Recommend `contextual`.
