Context

Danladi Mohammed Zakari

Retired Brigadier-General; first Military Administrator of Kogi State (28 August 1991 – 2 January 1992) under the Babangida regime. Established the foundational state machinery — Lokoja as capital, the first ministries, the LG Service Commission and judiciary — during a ~4-month tenure that ended with the handover to elected civilian governor Abubakar Audu on 2 January 1992. Post-governorship he has maintained a low public profile and is on record (2017) criticising the EFCC's prosecution record. No corruption allegations against him are documented in the imported corpus.
