Context

Darius Dickson Ishaku

Darius Dickson Ishaku (b. 30 July 1954, Lupwe, Ussa LGA, Taraba State) is a Nigerian architect, urban planner, and politician who served as Governor of Taraba State on the PDP platform from 29 May 2015 to 29 May 2023 (two terms). A professional architect by training, he was previously Managing Director of Excelare Partners (Kaduna, founded 1983), architect at Inter Design Partnership, and Director of Bestarc International Association; in federal service he was Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Power, and Environment under President Goodluck Jonathan. His 2015 election survived APC challenger Senator Aisha Alhassan's legal challenge at the Election Petition Tribunal. The only controversy on file in the corpus is a **February 2022 Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) allegation of religious-cleansing / marginalisation of Muslims in Taraba political appointments since 2015** — a religious/political-criticism matter that did not produce any legal proceeding. **No EFCC, ICPC, court-charge, or other formal corruption matter against Ishaku is recorded in the corpus or in well-known public record.** Recommend **`contextual`** archive status (two-term Taraba governor, no formal corruption finding on file); editor to monitor for any post-tenure EFCC matter that may surface. The three biographical-source URLs on file (naijatellit.blogspot, politiciansdata.com, legit.ng tag-archive) all fail the credible-source rule and should be replaced with Premium Times / TheCable / Punch biographical retrospectives if biographical sourcing is needed.
