Arraigned alongside former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala and Pentagon Engineering owner Olufemi Babalola at an Oyo State High Court on Tuesday 11 October 2011 on charges of allegedly defrauding Oyo State of over N11 billion. Alleged conspiracy to award N8.5B in road construction contracts across 33 LGAs and N2.27B for 33 drilling machines, all without budgetary appropriation.
