Founding EFCC Director of Operations; appointed Acting Chairman in November 2011 to replace Farida Waziri. Okpaga et al. (2012) treated his appointment as a corrective step. Note: in later years (2014-2015 under Buhari), Lamorde himself faced separate corruption allegations including N1 trillion mismanagement claims by Senator Peter Nwaoboshi - which themselves became politicised.
