Convicted

Joyce Bamidele Oyebanjo

UK-based housing tenancy manager convicted at Southwark Crown Court of laundering 1.4 million pounds of Plateau State funds stolen by then-Governor Joshua Dariye. Sentenced to three years imprisonment. The Dariye accomplice case is a textbook UK-side conviction that does not have its parallel Nigerian conviction (Dariye himself was shielded by gubernatorial immunity under Section 308 until he left office, and his Nigerian case stalled for years).
