Kaduna State CCTV Security Project

Project to install a state-wide CCTV security network in Kaduna under the El-Rufai administration. The ICPC's 17 April 2026 11-count charge alleges the ₦8.68bn contract was awarded in December 2015 to a company lacking the requisite competence; that subsequent flows passed through Singularity Network Security Limited and other firms between 2017 and 2022; and that El-Rufai's son Bashir El-Rufai was mentioned in the allegations but not listed as a defendant. Senior executives of IHS Towers are among the named defendants alongside Jimi Lawal.
