Led defence team of 79–106 lawyers representing Bukola Saraki in the Code of Conduct Tribunal trial (2015–2018). Joined the case in March 2016 after initial counsel Joseph Daudu withdrew. Strategic-network connection: Danladi Umar (CCT Chairman who presided over the trial) previously worked in Agabi's law chambers, Calabar (1999–2001) before joining the Federal Ministry of Justice. Agabi also had professional ties to prosecutor Rotimi Jacobs (SAN) through Gani Fawehinmi's chambers and EFCC formation under Nuhu Ribadu. Saraki acquitted June 14, 2017 (CCT); Court of Appeal ordered retrial on 3 of 18 counts December 12, 2017; Supreme Court quashed all charges July 6, 2018. Tagged `contextual`: present in the archive as the defence counsel of record in the Saraki CCT case, not as the subject of any allegation in his own right.
