Musiliu Olatunde Obanikoro

Former PDP Senator and Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana; appointed Minister of State for Defence under President Jonathan in 2014. Stayed in the United States from mid-2015 to October 2016 before returning to face EFCC interrogation; subsequently turned prosecution witness ('5th prosecution witness, then later 13th') in the EFCC's case against Ayodele Fayose at the Federal High Court Lagos. EFCC: Sylvan McNamara Limited — registered in the names of his sons Ibrahim Babajide and Gbolahan Obanikoro — was the Diamond Bank conduit through which ₦4.7bn from the ONSA was disbursed to PDP gubernatorial candidates Fayose (Ekiti) and Iyiola Omisore (Osun) in June–August 2014. Defected to APC; testified that he was acting on Dasuki's instructions. His Maitama (Mamman Kotangora Crescent) and Ikoyi properties were forfeited by Justice Yusuf Halilu's 2017 ruling. EFCC has not charged him personally despite multi-year investigations.
