Current Governor of Kogi State; political successor and ally of Yahaya Bello. Used Section 308 immunity to physically prevent EFCC's attempted arrest of Bello (April 2024) and continued shielding. The case is a contemporary instance of the gubernatorial-immunity-as-shield pattern.
